Biography
My dance journey began in early 2010 in the ballroom world, where I learned the fundamentals of partnership, posture, and musicality. Then I discovered West Coast Swing, and it changed everything. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion that shaped my life.
I immersed myself in the dance, attending events, taking workshops, and stepping onto the competition floor. As my love for the dance deepened, so did my desire to give back. I trained as an instructor under local Portland mentors, then pursued judge training with Trudy Thatcher and Chris Jones, whose guidance shaped how I evaluate and support dancers today.
Today, I teach, mentor, judge, and help build our community. For me, West Coast Swing is more than a dance. It's a creative outlet that brings people together and lifts them up. I'm grateful to be part of this community and look forward to serving it from the judge's seat.
