Biography

Chevy Baker is a three-time US Open Swing Dance Champion and an inductee of the prestigious California Swing Dance Hall of Fame. Her journey in West Coast Swing began at just seven years old, and by the age of 15, she was already sharing her passion and expertise as both an instructor and competition judge.

With decades of experience in competition, performance, teaching, and choreography, Chevy has dedicated much of her life to the art of West Coast Swing. Her love for musicality, creativity, and connection has always been at the heart of her dancing.

After stepping away from the West Coast Swing scene to focus on starting and raising her family, Chevy is excited to begin a new chapter in the dance community. With a renewed passion for the sport and a wealth of experience to bring to the table, she looks forward to focusing on judging, supporting the next generation of dancers, and contributing to the continued growth and evolution of West Coast Swing.
