Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions the Judges Committee receives most often. If yours is not here, write to us — the address is at the bottom of this page.

Access & your account

I got married — how do I change my name?

You can change it yourself. Log in and go to Account → Profile → Edit, update your first and last name and save.

Open my profile settings

Your certificate follows automatically: it always shows your current name, so it does not have to be re-issued.

I forgot my password / I cannot log in

Use the “Lost your password?” link on the login page and follow the instructions in the email you receive.

If the Judges Committee sent you an invitation letter, that letter contains a password. Always use the most recent letter — a newer letter replaces the password from any earlier one.

How do I change my email address?

Log in and go to Account → Settings → Security.

I never received my invitation email

Please check your spam or junk folder first — the message comes from the Judge Education platform and is easily filtered out.

If it is not there, write to [email protected] and we will send it again. Please note that a new letter also contains a new password; the one from the earlier letter will stop working.

The course

How long does the certification take?

Plan for about one hour. You do not have to complete it in one sitting — your progress is saved and you can continue where you left off.

My lesson has no “Mark as Complete” button

That is intentional — those lessons complete themselves. Once the video has played to the end, the lesson is marked as complete and the next one unlocks.

Let the video run to the end and do not skip ahead: skipped parts do not count.

The video does not start

Reload the page first. If it still does not play, try a different browser and switch off ad-blockers or privacy extensions for this site — they sometimes block the video player.

On company, school or hotel networks video streams are occasionally blocked altogether. Using a different network usually solves it.

Do I have to do the lessons in order?

Yes. The course unlocks step by step: each lesson becomes available once you have completed the one before it.

Quiz & certificate

How many attempts do I have for the final quiz?

Three. Each attempt gives you 60 minutes and 40 questions, drawn at random from a larger pool — so the questions differ from attempt to attempt.

What score do I need to pass?

75 percent.

Which certificate will I receive?

Your first attempt decides the level:

If you need a second or third attempt, the certificate is Silver — however well that later attempt goes. So please take the first attempt seriously, and only start it once you are ready.

I did not pass. What now?

You can retake the quiz; you have three attempts in total. If you do not pass in any of them, the Judges Committee will get in touch with you.

Where do I find my certificate?

It is issued automatically once you have signed the Judges Pledge and passed the quiz. You will then find a Download certificate (PDF) button in your dashboard.

Can someone check that my certificate is genuine?

Yes. Every certificate carries a unique ID, and anyone can check it at judge.worldsdc.com/verify.

Still need help?

Who do I contact?

Use our contact form — it goes straight to the Judges Committee and we reply to the address you give us. If you prefer plain email, write to [email protected]. Either way, please include your WSDC ID if you have one; that helps us find your account straight away.
